Just a reminder that we will be having a match on Saturday. I’m hoping to have 6 stages, we’ll see! Either way, we will be there for 8:30am to start setting up. First shot at 10:00am.
Regular cost of $10 and if you have 120-130 rounds you will be safe.
The Steel Challenge will be going ahead as scheduled this evening. $5 and start at 6:00pm; again, if you may be a bit late – no worries, c’mon out.
The IPSC 2017 Provincials is happening on Saturday and Sunday with setup happening on Friday. If you’re planning on coming out, please follow the instruction on the form below. Thanks again!
Our previously scheduled match from Aug 5th is happening tomorrow!
This is the last tune up before our Provincials next weekend. I have 15 Stages ready to go for our Provincials – I’m not sure how many will get set up next Friday! I’m planning on putting as many as possible into the competition. Regardless, it will be fun and we will be shooting lots!
Monty’s Place (the North Atlantic gas station) out in Whitbourne will be supplying complimentary soup and sandwiches for lunch at tomorrow’s match. We keep checking on the weather but we can’t wait for perfect weather to shoot here in NL.
C’mon out; shoot a match and relax with a warm meal! It should be a great time. Probably best to bring your own refreshments but I’m sure there may be coffee, tea and hot chocolate available.
Early risers are always welcome to help come set up starting around 8:30am. First shots @ 10:00am! Match fees are $10.
Match scheduled for Saturday will start at 10:00am. Someone will be out there early (8:30ish) to start setting up and help is always appreciated of course!!! Paul Barrow did up some Stages for a match in May that got cancelled, so we’ll use those this weekend. Someone will be there to collect the Match Fee ($10) and run everything.
When we start on time (because of the extra help setting up) people can finish at a reasonable time and enjoy the rest of the day! There may be some rain so that’ll be a decision for that morning. Follow on the website to be sure!!!
I won’t be there to shoot that morning but I’ll probably be out (early afternoon) with the ammunition order to make sure everyone gets their ammo! If you want it beforehand, contact me.
We started setting up the match in very unfavourable weather conditions! But we can’t wait for the weather in NL and it paid off for all involved!
Bill Dicks and Andrew Meadus toughed out the weather and the wind to safely complete the Match and thus earn their Black Badge Certification. Monty was keen enough to bring out his enclosed trailer and this certainly makes things much more bearable in the windy, unpredictable weather! THANKS AGAIN MONTY!!!!!
I know this may be a little late, but life gets busy sometimes. As you know, we conducted a Black Badge Certification course May 6-7th; and we had our first successful shooters from that group complete the Certification and receive their Black Badge on May 13th.
We upload the score to Practiscore; so if you ever want to search for other IPSCNL scores just go to www.practiscore.com and search the results using “ipscnl”.

Chilly morning to set up the match.
Finally ready to start!
Warming up during lunch.
Glad to safely complete the Match and receive their Black Badge Certification
As always, first shots are scheduled for 10:00am. The more people out to help set up is always better. There shouldn’t be much set up with these stages, but get out early to register and get sorted. $10 match fee as per normal. Hoping to see some BB candidates safely complete the match to receive their Black Badge!
Hello shooters,
Paul Barrow has scheduled an IPSC Level I match at the Rod & Gun Club in CLARENVILLE.
