Greetings shooters!
It’s now 2015 and another shooting season is upon us. This year, we have the luck to have the 6xIPSC World Champion Eric Grauffel coming to Canada again. He will be giving IPSC courses in Ontario, at the Silverdale Gun Club this July.
If you have a goal set for your competition performance, here’s the most cost effective way you can get closer to achieving that goal. Learn from the best shooter that has ever participated in this sport. But the shocker is he is also the best trainer in this sport. A rare bird indeed!
Mostly those two abilities don’t go together, but lucky for us, they come together in Eric. Last year all 50 slots we had available sold out in a few weeks. DO NOT HESITATE if you are interested. All courses will have a maximum of 10 people, with 2 instructors.
Courses will run at the Silverdale Gun Club in the lovely Niagara Peninsula, the heart of Ontario’s Wine Country. Plenty of hotels, wineries and boutique restaurants to enjoy, as well as Niagara Falls of course.
1) There will be 2 basic Level 1 and 2 courses available for signup. Each basic course is two full days, and will require approx 800 rounds per day to complete. All positional and movement techniques are covered. If demand is there, we will open a third two day course.
2) There will be 2 one day Level 3 courses available, for those who have taken the Level 1 and 2 course already, either this year or previously. 800 rounds needed. All stage specific techniques are covered, like swingers, props, hit factor, stage strategy, etc…
3) There will be a 2 day Level 3+ and Level 4 course available, for all those who took the Level 1,2 and 3 courses last year. This is a re-cap and a continuation of advanced techniques and strategy.
4) There will be private training days available on request. For groups of 1-10 people. Price is per day and the perfect venue to get one on one training with Eric or with a group of friends. Roughly 1000-1200 rounds per day, possibly more if the group is small.
2015 Schedule:
July 16-17 Level 1&2 $800 CAD + HST =$904 CAD
July 18-19 Level 1&2 $800 CAD + HST =$904 CAD
July 20 Level 3 $400 CAD + HST =$452 CAD

Good Day,
We set up a 3 stage indoor Airsoft practice run today and it was a whole lot of fun.
This is a great way to beat the cold weather and still practice your skills and improve your shooting on the move techniques….(while it’s nice and warm..:)
Stay tuned…more details to come for this Airsoft program.

Hello All,
Due to the recent weather – very icy and slippery conditions; the Match that was scheduled for tomorrow (Jan 31st) is being cancelled.
We always want to ensure the safety of all persons at the range! At this time, we feel that the icy conditions will increase the risks associated with running a safe match. Thanks for your understanding.
In lieu of this, I have attached a link to a video for you to see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEMKYEeMUog
This is a way to train and shoot indoors regardless of all of this weather! We would love to see more of our shooters get involved in this concept. We can have jsu as much fun doing this until the weather allows us to get to the Range regularly.
If you’re interested, send me an email and we can work together to exchange information and answer any questions you may have.
Regards,
Rick Crane

Hello all,
There is a match scheduled for this Saturday, Jan 31st at the Rod & Gun Club. Gerry Carr has put together the stages for our shoot this week. I have attached 3 of the photos what will be used to make up the courses of fire. We will modify what we have here to get 6 Stages. Hopefully the weather permits us to have a full Match.
As of now we are planning on having our first shot at 10:00 am. Please come join us for the setup; we will be aiming to start setting up at 9:00. Many hands makes light work, and we can get the fire started in the shack if need be. I don’t have the round count right now.
Have a look at the photos, see what we may have in store … stay tuned for the round count! We will provide more details as Saturday gets closer.
Regards,
Rick Crane
