Hello fellow IPSC shooters,
Attached are the results of the Steel Challenge Showdown that was conducted on Saturday, Sept 17th 2016 at the SJRGC.
The weather was excellent and we had a great bunch of shooters. We even had a ‘new, young shooter’ come by to see what we were doing and he got the chance to shoot some steel with a .22LR Smith and Wesson M&P. He did very well and got a round of applause from all of our shooters. He loved it!
Reminder that we still have a couple more IPSC Matches left and we are hoping to get everyone out to finish the season strong!
See you on Tuesday evening for another Steel Shoot. 6:00pm start but come early to help set up. Remember – Many hands makes light work!

It’s simple, fun and fast! Shooting steel gives you great feedback that you are actually hitting the targets that you are aiming for. PING – PING – PING – PING – PING.
Please read about this event, clean your gun, get some ammo and come on out! You won’t be disappointed.

Hello Shooters,
IPSCNL has been asked by the SJRGC to help with the Annual Tony Mackey Memorial Shoot. See the description for event #5 in the post below from the SJRGC. We will not be conducting a regular IPSC Match, but instead will be assisting with the SJRGC activities. IPSCNL will start our shoot at 10:00am but we encourage participants to arrive by 9:30am at the latest; this helps in determining how much gear we may need to set up. Please read below and we hope to see you at the Range.
Any questions or concerns; please don’t hesitate to contact a member of the Executive.

Hello shooters,
Here is a little video that I put together to show you some of the stages that we shot at the Nationals in Nova Scotia at the end of July. As you will see; there are places to improve and things to practice. 😉 Enjoy!

Steel Challenge Aug 16th 2016
We had 7 folks show up but we put lots of lead downrange! It was a great evening to shoot and everyone was relaxed and having fun.
We shot Stage 1 (True Steel) a total of 5 times and dropped the highest time. Stage 2 (Texas Star) was shot 3 times by everyone and all 3 times were used for the calculation.
See results link at the end of the post.
Looking forward to seeing you at the range again.
